Assist with all phases of competitive NCAA and CCIW compliant recruiting. Ensure a commitment to the academic success of tennis student-athletes, including monitoring academic performance, attendance, and social behavior. Build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community. Manage equipment usage. Other administrative and clerical duties will be assigned by the Head Coach, Assistant Vice President for Athletics, and Associate and Assistant Athletic Directors. Requirements A bachelor’s degree is required.  Playing experience is not required, but applicants should have general tennis knowledge. Applicant must obtain acceptance in North Park University graduate program. Applicant must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (i.e. frequent nights and weekends). Able to lift and move athletic equipment. Able to travel with team, by vehicle or plane. A valid driver's license is required. Possess a clear understanding and personal commitment to North Park's mission of Christian higher education.

JCC Greater Boston is seeking a part-time Pool Lifeguard. This position is an opportunity to use your lifesaving skills while being a part of a dynamic team. JCC Greater Boston lifeguards keep members and guests safe while creating a welcoming environment. Working a flexible schedule with opportunities year-round, the Pool Lifeguard works at our indoor and outdoor pools in the summer, shifting to indoors only the rest of the year. The Aquatics Team is a lively and fun team! Primary responsibilities include and are not limited to: Ensures the safety of every pool patron through education, vigilant preventative guarding, first aid, emergency medical services, and rescue services Provides consistent pool coverage and smooth transitions between shifts through planning, punctuality and personal accountability Enforces the rules and regulations of the pools consistently Maintains good working relationships with staff members, maintenance personnel, administrative personnel, and pool patrons. Resolves member concerns in a professional manner or escalates them, as appropriate Creates pool related documentation (e.g. opening/closing checklists, bather tracking and incident reports) Able and willing to follow directions from supervisors and follow protocols Maintains a safe and neat pool area; assist in pool maintenance by performing scheduled checks, cleaning and maintenance Develops professional relationships with members Conducts swim tests Be familiar with, and follow the pool schedule – including correctly configuring lane lines according to the schedule. Attend all mandatory trainings and in-services Support JCC goals and objectives Learn all aspects of the pool facilities and its daily operations.
