Primary Stakeholders: Sr Plant Manager, Landover factory. What are the Key Responsibilities of this role? Planned Maintenance: Development and implementation of an effective planned maintenance programs and activities across site (Manufacturing & Facilities) to increase equipment availability (90% for assets which have planned maintenance activities conducted on them) and minimize downtime Design and implementation of an effective spare parts control system to secure 100% adherence to planned maintenance schedules is delivered Planned maintenance completion to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency are delivered to meet customer service levels Planning and completion required maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety regulation, environmental standards and internal company policies is achieved Coordination of reactive maintenance of the plant equipment to minimize efficiency losses Root cause analysis of any asset related failures resulting downtime and performance losses; implementation of robust countermeasures to prevent recurrence in future Effective planning, coordination and management of works carried out by external contractors for specialized maintenance activities Development of maintenance plans for new introduced assets in collaboration with OEM Monitoring and control of asset related changes on site Health & Safety: Adherence to site health and safety, and legislative requirements through personal responsibility and engagement of all team members Ensuring all maintenance activities are complainant to safety regulations, environmental standards and company policies. Cost control and Inventory Management: Supporting annual budgeting cycle with a generation of annual maintenance plans and bills of materials in line with communicated timelines Collaboration with OEM and maintenance engineering teams to establish optimal Min and Max stock holding norms for spare parts to minimize working capital Spare parts, consumables and critical components stock accuracy levels management Planned maintenance budget control Minor Cap-Ex expenditure management (as applicable) People Management: Leading, motivating, coaching and developing direct reports  Provides guidance as to enhance competence through regular competency assessments for maintenance teams Continuous Improvement Tracking key performance indicators related to maintenance Identify opportunities to improve performance across site through capturing asset related data (MES) Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and other relevant software Ability to influence others Requirements What are the Critical success factors for the Role ? We are currently seeking an Electric Lead Engineer in LaBella’s Program Management Services Division at our client’s office in Binghamton, NY. The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. This position is for our client in the electric utility industry. The Lead Engineer will work closely with the construction and design team to develop drawings, specifications, and construction work orders to support the design, construction, and commissioning of electrical equipment. Position reports to a Unit Manager Line but will work day-to- day in a cross functional project team and support project needs as dictated by the project manager(s). Salary Range: $100,000-$140,000 The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.  Responsibilities Capital project engineering performance including all phases such as: scoping and budgeting, conceptual engineering, contract management and design, engineering design, construction, commissioning, and closeout. Perform field circuit reviews based on the project scope given and identify proposed improvements. Review sketches that include existing and proposed work actions according to approved construction standards. Oversee and coordinate with internal and external resources the detailed designs according to approved construction standards.
