Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced part-time Paralegal with strong expertise in contract review, commercial lease analysis, and transaction coordination to support our attorneys on high-value practice transitions. This is a flexible, remote-friendly position that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in time-sensitive deals. Key Responsibilities: -Review and redline commercial real estate leases for dental, veterinary, and medical clients -Analyze asset purchase agreements, partnership agreements, and other business contracts -Draft summaries and issue-spotting memos for attorney review -Track revisions, deadlines, and outstanding items for transactional matters -Maintain organized deal files and contract version control -Coordinate due diligence materials and closing deliverables -Serve as the point of contact for buyers, sellers, brokers, CPAs, lenders, and landlords throughout each transaction -Facilitate smooth communication between all parties, flag roadblocks, and keep the timeline on track -Send status updates to clients and partners, and help ensure all tasks are completed prior to closing Ideal Candidate Will Have: -Minimum 3–5 years of relevant paralegal or legal assistant experience, ideally in transactional business law -Direct experience reviewing and summarizing commercial leases and business contracts -Prior exposure to managing deal flow or acting as a transaction coordinator -Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills -Comfort handling multiple clients and stakeholders with professionalism and tact -Familiarity with legal terminology and workflows in California law preferred -Experience working with healthcare professionals (bonus but not required) Location & Hours: -Part-time: 10–20 hours/week -Flexible schedule -Remote position, though San Diego-based candidates are welcome to work in-office periodically Compensation: -Hourly rate commensurate with experience: $30–$50/hour -W-2 Why Join Us: At Odgers Law Group, you’ll work with a respected and growing boutique firm that values precision, responsiveness, and clarity in everything we do.
