Beacon Hill Legal's client, a global law firm, located in Lower Manhattan is seeking a legal recruiting assistant for a short-term contract opportunity that is expected to last through the middle of August, with the potential for extension. The candidate will assist with data entry, applicant tracking, candidate communication, and event coordination. The candidate hired must be able to commute to our client's office in Lower Manhattan and have 1+ year of experience in a Recruitment/Human resources capacity. Key Responsibilities: Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the firm's applicant tracking system Import candidate data (resumes, education, JD year) from Simplicity into viRecruit; review and correct any discrepancies Monitor and update candidate statuses, upload documents, and input interview details Candidate Management: Organize and circulate candidate materials to the recruiting team and firm leadership Prepare post-interview correspondence and self-apply candidate packets E-file candidate documents and maintain orderly digital folders Reporting & Tracking: Maintain department spreadsheets and charts related to onboarding, prospects, candidate outcomes, and recruiting expenses Track RSVPs for law student events and maintain prospective candidate lists Logistics & Coordination: Book conference rooms, order catering, and manage calendar invites for interviews and recruiting events Qualifications: Previous experience with applicant tracking systems (especially viRecruit) a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Interested candidates must apply with a Word version of their resume for consideration.
