Trustworthy individual needed for cleaning, maintenance, and set-ups in a church setting with an accredited nursery school program. First Parish Church in Weston is looking for a part-time Sexton (i.e. Custodian) to work 12-15 hours per week, including most Sunday mornings to open/prep church for worship service/church school classes and nursery school for Monday classes. Remaining hours would include 4 weekdays, preferably afternoons after 2:30 pm. During the school year, primary responsibility is the cleaning and maintenance of the nursery school, consisting of four classrooms and four bathrooms. During school vacations and the summer months, duties may include general cleaning of various areas in the main building, setting up and breaking down for meetings and functions, and some main building and seasonal landscape maintenance tasks. Skills Required: Basic building maintenance skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, manage a project, and interact with a variety of different people. A sense of humor and willingness to learn. Can train the right person. Compensation: $22-24/hour depending on experience. Hours/Schedule: Must be available on most Sunday mornings and four weekday afternoons. Vacation: Two weeks paid vacation per year to start.
