We are seeking a highly-motivated Attorney to primarily supervise and handle a heavy and complex case-load of personal injury cases. The ideal candidate can work independently, supervise and train support staff, and has experience handling claims from start to finish. Responsibilities Negotiate personal injury settlements in both pre-litigation and litigation stages.. Regularly communicate with insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and medical providers. Analyze the value of personal injury cases based on medical bills, injuries, and other pertinent factors. Work closely with attorneys and clients to strategize and implement negotiation tactics. Maintain accurate case records, documenting all correspondence, conversations, and negotiations. Uphold the firm's client-centered philosophy by providing outstanding service and compassion to our clients. Requirements Proven experience as a Negotiator within a legal setting. Strong understanding of personal injury cases, and negotiation techniques. Well-versed in medical terminology, etiology and analysis Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work independently while also taking direction when needed. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in relevant software and tools. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. TorkLaw is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.

Experience on similar types of large document reviews, comfort with online document review platforms, such as Relativity, and high attention to detail are required. The position is expected to last for a few months. The candidate will be expected to work remotely on a full-time basis. The rate for this position will be $46 per hour. Qualified candidates must be licensed, active, and in good standing in New York, California, or Delaware. You will be eligible for the firm’s benefits. You must be available to work 35-40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) and during normal business hours.
