We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable associate attorney to join our growing team in Irvine, CA. This person will work hands on from inception of a case to trial with the assistance of an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team. Litigation will be on a broad range of personal injury cases including auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractic, elder abuse, and sexual abuse cases.  The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in active litigation, including taking and defending depositions, conducting discovery, attending mediations, arguing law and motion, and serving as either first or second chair in arbitrations and/or jury trials.  Our attorneys litigate cases and are provided all the resources to do so, all to obtain the client maximum recovery and not settle for less due to being handcuffed by a prelitgation only firm.  This is great opportunity for those attorneys that are seeking to evolve their litigation skills as the firm's leadership invests in educating associate attorneys.   Requirements Member of the California Bar Superior drafting, writing, and research skills Demonstrated ability to effectively advocate on clients behalf About you: You’re a natural leader, you’re assertive and confident on and off the job You have impeccable character, uncompromising in ethics and morals You are a team player but also a self-starter who can work independently You enjoy the details and don’t mind spending the time to master a new concept You are a quick thinker who can use all angles to win an argument You’re accountable to your clients and your team Benefits Salary commensurate with your experience, base pay plus percentage of fees collected (90k - 250k) We have a company culture that fosters career growth and opportunity We are a team – everyone is important and contributes to corporate growth and success We offer a competitive base salary, with a lucrative commission structure that gives each an attorney a percentage of the attorney fees collected.   We believe continuing education is important, so we pay membership dues to various professional organizations, and we pay for MCLE courses. PWDF Seeks Managing Attorney to Convert to Legal Director. PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES FOUNDATION (PWDF) is a small nonprofit agency located in San Francisco that focuses on equal access for individuals with mental and/or developmental disabilities. Compensation: $90,000 to $105,000 base salary for full-time (35 hours per week), DOE. Part-time (80%) will be considered; applicants who are interested in part-time should state so in cover letter. Duties: The MA will report to the Legal Director (LD) . (1) General Supervisory Attorney responsible for supervision and/or advice to staff attorneys and program manager.
