  In-House Insurance Defense Attorney, Construction General Liability Full Remote (Must reside in CA)  We're looking for an experienced In-House Defense Attorney to join our growing legal team. In this role, you'll manage construction general liability claims from inception to resolution, contributing to a company that values individual growth and offers exciting future opportunities. Responsibilities: Serve as in-house defense counsel, actively managing a diverse caseload of construction general liability claims. Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external parties, including experts and opposing counsel. Develop and execute litigation strategies, demonstrating strong litigation management skills. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case development. Work Environment: This position offers Full Remote / Hybrid Remote Options, providing flexibility for your work-life balance. For those who prefer an office setting, we have a physical office located in Carlsbad, California. Requirements Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and an active license to practice law in California. 5+ years of litigation experience with a focus on defense, specifically in General Liability / Construction Defect. Strong coverage background is essential. Demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently as a self-starter. Extensive trial experience is required.
