From diagnostic to all vehicle repairs/maintenance upkeep. Help team members of the service department thoroughly in various vehicle maintenance and repair responsibilities. Observes and follows all necessary safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment and tools. Perform work of other members of the service department if business necessitates. Perform any other duties either necessary for customer service or perceived by or assigned to the job. Qualification To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform and enjoy each essential duty satisfactorily. ASE Certification preferred Experience in the following areas. Our small company is looking to add one member to our long-standing group of technicians. We get to work in some of the nicest homes around Seattle and often travel for customers who have multiple homes. Experience with installing a media room of your own, configuring network equipment, terminating cables, and/or configuring smart home devices is a major plus. You will also need to demonstrate good craftsmanship with your hands using hand tools, drills, and saws as well as using precision measurement tools such as levels and a tape measure. In addition, you should have good customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with our customers during offsite work. • Operate and inspect Hog trucks to diagnose defects. • Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul Hog vehicles (trucks), their engines, and assemblies, such as hydraulic and electrical systems. • Maintain, repair, and rebuild Hog trucks, functional components, and parts. • Examine and inspect truck components to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems. • Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations. • Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that vehicle is safe and ready for operation. • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. • Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective maintenance. • Modify systems, or components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications. • Inspect vehicles for wear or other defects and measure parts for wear, using precision instruments. • Obtain fuel and oil samples and check them for contamination. • Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with Hog Technologies specifications. • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles. • May anticipate 10% travel .
