Smoker & Company is a successful, busy CPA firm with multiple offices in Lancaster and Berks County. Smoker & Company and its Family of Companies provide business services spanning various client needs such as bookkeeping, payroll, legal services, consulting, wealth management, and property management. Our mission is to meet the total accounting, tax, and business development needs of our clients in order to enhance the value of the businesses and individuals we are privileged to serve. We are currently seeking a Tax Attorney to support our clients’ state and local tax needs. We offer a base salary depending on relevant experience in addition to benefits as well as performance-based bonuses. The ideal candidate for this role would have undergraduate education and/or experience in accounting as well as a law degree and experience. We pride ourselves on our commitment to client service and the professional growth of our employees. Responsibilities:  Creating and applying the state and local tax laws to benefit our clients while minimizing their tax obligations Completing sale and use tax reverse audits Reviewing client companies’ accounts payables data and using tax accruals to determine where sales and use tax is paid Analyzing sales and use tax payments for refund opportunities Developing appeals schedules and documenting the transactions for a requested refund Developing appeals and representing client companies at administrative levels such as PA Board of Appeals and Board of Finance and Revenue Elevating appeals and engaging in settlement negotiations as necessary with the office of Attorney General Qualifications: Juris Doctorate Degree Undergraduate Degree in Accounting Strong professional ethics / integrity / reliability Dedication to providing and ensuring exceptional client services Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Superior understanding of the entire Internal Revenue Code, tax laws of the commonwealth of PA, and local jurisdictions and adjoining states The immediate ability to work in the United States Benefits: Salary $70K - $160K (Depending on experience) Uncapped Bonus Plan Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance 401K Match Hybrid work environment options Team Building Events Whether you are just beginning your career or taking the “next step,” please visit our website and click career opportunities - www.smokercpa.com Candidates are required to successfully pass a pre-employment background check. Maintenance Technician I $5,000 Sign-On Bonus!*  Transdev in Lakewood, Washington is seeking a Level -1 Automotive Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Automotive engines across various vehicles and equipment. As an Automotive Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles. Transdev is proud to offer:  Competitive compensation package of minimum $24.50 (twenty four dollars and fifty cents) – Maximum $26.00 (twenty six dollars) $5,000 Sign-On bonus!*  Benefits include: Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks Sick days: 1 (one) hour earned for every 40 (forty) hours works Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability. Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies. Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications. Other duties, to include supporting the vehicle refueling operation as required. Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience as a Automotive Mechanic. ASE certifications preferred; ASE certification program provided Mechanic’s Tool Set Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical.
