Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (noe valley)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality patient care. You will assist in implementing treatment plans, helping patients regain mobility and improve their overall physical function. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in manual techniques and a passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities: -Assist physical therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. -Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques. -Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist. -Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-care strategies. -Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. -Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. -Participate in discharge planning to facilitate a smooth transition towards independence . Experience: -Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology is essential. -Experience working with diverse populations -Proficiency in manual therapy techniques is preferred. -Specialized training in Myofascial Release and or Yoga is highly desirable -Strong communication skills is essential. -We welcome both new graduates and experienced practitioners to apply.
