Line Cook- Red Barn Market & Deli (Day shift/No Weekends) (South Burlington)

Now Hiring - Come Grow With Us! Red Barn Market & Deli is a established business located in South Burlington at the corner of Hinesburg Road and Tilley Drive. We offer a selection of made-to-order and grab-and-go deli items, as well as a variety of food and beverage grocery items. We are looking for reliable individuals to join our growing team. We are currently hiring for a full-time Cook for year around work. Positions start at $17.00/hour plus generous tips ($20+/hour with tips). Overtime may be available for full-time employees based on business need and employee availability. We are closed on weekends and all major holidays. Our Cooks take pride in the product that we serve for both made-to-order and grab-and-go items. Essential duties include: Building sandwiches and preparing fried foods Food prep Fryer Cleaning/ dishwashing Taking orders And other duties as assigned The ideal candidate must have: Previous line cook experience in a fast paced environment Experience using a fryer Knife skills Experience using a deli slicer Ability to reliably report to all scheduled shifts Be of legal age to sell alcohol in the State of Vermont Must be available to work 5 days/week.
