Mason Jar NYC – Midtown East’s go-to spot for BBQ, beer & bourbon – is hiring a full-time bartender with at least 3 years of experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting.
We’ve been doing this for over 15 years and have built a loyal crowd of locals, sports fans, and bourbon lovers. If you’re great under pressure, love making people feel at home, and can pour a perfect pint or shake up a killer cocktail without breaking a sweat, we want to meet you.

What We’re Looking For:
– 3+ years behind the bar in a fast-paced environment
– Strong knowledge of beer, bourbon, and classic cocktails
– Comfortable working solo or with a team behind a busy bar
– Clean, organized, and on top of the details
– Excellent with customers – friendly, professional, and fast
– Comfortable handling bar prep, stocking, and light inventory
– Must be able to work nights and weekends (4–5 shifts/week)
– NYC DOH safety knowledge is a big plus
– Familiar with Toast POS is a bonus

– Mixing and serving drinks with speed and accuracy
– Taking care of guests with top-notch hospitality
– Keeping your bar clean, stocked, and organized
– Helping with ordering, bar setup, and closing
– Working closely with servers and management to keep service smooth
