Club Directors are responsible for building operations, stewarding local community and partnership relationships, implementing the strategic direction of the organization at the local Club, and managing Club budgets and member registration, to achieve the organizational mission and financial goals. Club Directors will manage and help develop a strong multi-level Club team to ensure high-quality activities, programs, and services are being offered in line with program strategies and goals. Manage and provide direct supervision to the Club's staff, including Lead Coordinator, Program Coordinators, and Front Desk staff. Provide supervision and guidance to volunteers in the manner outlined by the organization. Strategic Planning and Goal Management: Create and execute an annual Club plan, in collaboration with senior leadership, to meet the needs of the community and the organization. Manage the Club’s budget and ensure all data and strategic goals are met. Community and Partnership Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for the Club within the community. Build and maintain strong partnerships with local leaders, community organizations, schools, and families in the North/Northeast Portland community. Regularly meet with local community leaders to drive forward organization initiatives and provide responsive leadership to the community and Club team (including schools, businesses, government entities, and partners), in partnership with the Senior Director and VP of Programs. Serve as the primary point of contact for families and community members, ensuring a responsive and welcoming environment. Represent BGCP within the community, acting as a role model for the organizational mission and values. Staff and Program Development: Foster a safe, collaborative, and accountable work environment, in partnership with Senior Directors, through weekly staff meetings, individual check-ins, professional development, and staff training. Ensure all program-based requirements are met. Administrative and Safety Oversight: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, organizational policies, and procedures. Create a safe and functional environment in partnership with the VP of Operations and Facilities Team. Oversee the collection of member data and family payments, completing necessary reports in a timely manner. Organizational Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Marketing & Development team to meet broader organizational goals and facilitate a diverse portfolio of media and recognition opportunities. Manage large-scale collaborative initiatives and events within the Club. Work collaboratively with all Clubs and departments within the organization to meet BGCP goals. Position Requirements: Possess proven leadership skills to mentor and inspire staff to achieve personal and professional goals, and apply sound, creative problem-solving techniques. Be an inclusive leader with a strong commitment to equity. Show proven skills in responsible, effective administrative duties management. Demonstrate the ability to implement and manage systems, processes, and procedures. Possess experience with or understanding of the communities in which BGCP operates and the specific barriers and challenges faced within the North/Northeast Portland community. Exhibit demonstrated cultural competencies and proficiency by effectively communicating and collaborating with people from various cultural backgrounds, ethnic groups, and races. Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholder groups, including community leaders, families, and partner organizations. Hold a four-year degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, OR have equivalent professional and lived experience. Possess a minimum of three years' work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization, planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people Demonstrated experience working and/or living within the North/Northeast Portland community. A proven track record of successfully building and managing partnerships with community-based organizations. Deep understanding of the specific strengths, needs, and cultural dynamics of the North/Northeast Portland community. We encourage you to learn more about our organization by watching our video at the link below: https://vimeo.com/364419685 As a Family Home Provider you will receive a tax free stipend of $1400-$5400+/month per Individual and you can serve a maximum of 2 Individuals in your home increasing your earning potential to $2800-$10,800+/month. The amount of the stipend depends on the support needs of each Individual and how much care they need. The more support they need, the higher the monthly stipend. Most Individuals fall in the middle of the rate range. The most important quality of a Family Home Provider is a commitment to the well-being and personal growth of the Individuals they care for. We are looking for caregivers who are in alignment with our mission and values. Enriching Lives is committed to providing each Individual we serve a caring family environment where they receive the supports they need to reach their goals and to grow into the best version of themselves. Family Home Providers can come from all different ethnic backgrounds, skills sets, education, neighborhood settings and family constellations. Experience in the social service field, as a caregiver, mental health worker, Psych Tech, CNA, or RN is a plus, but is not required. Enriching Lives provides classes at no charge to potential Family Home Providers to prepare them to be caregivers in their own home. Family Home Providers are responsible for providing care and supervision to 1-2 adults with developmental disabilities such as Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Autism, or Traumatic Brain Injury. More information about developmental disabilities is available on our website. Individuals may also have additional physical or mental health support needs. Individual’s ages range from 18-65 and their needs vary from high functioning, fairly independent Individuals to those who have total physical care needs or behavior support needs. Most Individuals participate in a school or day program during the day, although Family Home Providers are still responsible for being available during the day if needed. You will receive support from Enriching Lives to assist you in providing services in your own home such as initial and continuing education, the support of a multidisciplinary team, 24 hour on call professional support, and overnight relief support. Enriching Lives staff will visit you and the Individual regularly to provide support and ensure that the Individual’s goals are being met. At a minimum, you must have 1-2 spare bedrooms, a safe and pleasant living environment, reliable transportation, a high school diploma or GED and a designated backup Family Home Provider. All adult members of the household and frequent visitors to the home must have a clear criminal history and a DMV record without any major violations. Enriching Lives is highly committed to making successful matches and placements in the home of people who become Family Home Providers with our agency. While there are never guarantees for placements, our success rate is extremely high. We honestly evaluate you and only move forward in certifying you if we are confident that you will receive a match and be successful in our program.
