OPPORTUNITY  Fengate is a leading alternative investment manager focused on infrastructure, private equity and real estate strategies. In 2006, Fengate established its first infrastructure fund with a mandate to invest in infrastructure investments in Canada. Today, Fengate has invested in over 50 assets across the energy transition, digital, social and transportation infrastructure sectors in the United States and Canada.      As part of their strategy to grow the infrastructure investment platform, Fengate is seeking to hire an Associate to join their investment team in Miami to expand their digital infrastructure investment capabilities.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Develop financial models, presentations and investment memos   Conduct financial analysis and primary corporate and industry research  Support sourcing, bidding and closing investments and financings   Support fundraising and co-investment process  Analyze, structure, and execute investments and financings   Support diligence of new and management of existing portfolio companies  Undertake ad hoc projects as required  Requirements KEY QUALIFICATIONS Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field  Strong financial modeling and analytical skills  2+ years of cumulative work experience for an investment bank, infrastructure / private equity fund or comparable experience  Previous M&A / leveraged finance deal execution experience preferred   Strong interest in digital infrastructure, experience in digital infrastructure preferred but not required  Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, work ethic, and the ability to effectively prioritize in a demanding, high paced environment  CORE COMPETENCIES  Being Authentic – Inspiring trust and being courageous.   Focusing on Performance – Being accountable and driving results.  Understanding Stakeholders – Knowing the needs of those who rely on you.   Building Effective Relationships – Collaboration and communication.     Fengate is an equal opportunity employer.
