Deposit Policy: At pickup: If the driver is 21 years old or above, an additional $1000 will be charged as vehicle deposit. If the driver is under 21 years old, personal full coverage insurance must be provided to complete the rental. If the driver presents their own full coverage insurance policy, or purchases collision damage waiver and theft protection (with zero deductible): - Drivers aged 21 or above: an additional $500 will be charged as vehicle deposit. - Drivers under 21: an additional $1000 will be charged as vehicle deposit. Any related fees (e.g., vehicle damage, traffic tickets, tolls, excess mileage, late return, pickup fees, parking fees, EV charging fees, etc.) will be deducted from the deposit. A portion of the deposit (typically around $200) will be refunded approximately one month after vehicle return; the remaining deposit will be released within one business day. Credit card pre-authorization is not an actual charge—it only temporarily freezes a portion of your credit limit. After we release the hold, please contact your bank for specific timeframes regarding fund availability; mobile notifications are typically not sent. IV. Booking Policy Due to high vehicle variability, we will do our best to reserve your selected model, but we only guarantee delivery of the same model, equivalent value vehicle, or a free upgrade. The base rate does not include any vehicle insurance. You may provide your own auto insurance (we will verify if it is full coverage and includes rental vehicle protection), or you may select suitable vehicle insurance on the next page. Drivers under 21 must provide personal insurance that covers rental vehicles; otherwise, you will be responsible for all damages including our vehicle, third-party vehicles, and personal injury. Broken windows frequently occur due to valuables (such as clothing, wallets, phones, etc.) being left inside the vehicle. We strongly recommend taking all belongings with you when exiting the car. If items are stolen, recovery is extremely difficult❗❗ Once the deposit is paid, it is non-refundable. Orders beyond three days can be modified once free of charge via contacting customer support, including changes to vehicle type or rental period. Orders within ten days cannot be modified. The license must be valid—Chinese driver’s licenses and International Driving Permits are both acceptable.
