Deposit Information: At pickup: If the driver is 21 years old or above, an additional $1000 will be collected as a vehicle deposit. If the driver is under 21 years old, they must provide their own full-coverage insurance for the rental. If the driver presents their personal full-coverage insurance policy, or purchases collision and theft protection (with zero deductible), then: For drivers aged 21 or above, an additional $500 will be collected as a vehicle deposit. For drivers under 21, an additional $1000 will be collected as a vehicle deposit. Any related expenses (such as vehicle damage, traffic tickets, tolls, excess mileage fees, late fees, pickup fees, parking fees, EV charging fees, etc.) will be deducted from the deposit. Part of the deposit (typically around $200) will be refunded approximately one month after returning the vehicle, while the remaining amount will be processed for refund within one business day. Credit card pre-authorization is not an actual charge; we only freeze a portion of your credit limit. After unfreezing, the time required for the limit to be restored varies and should be confirmed with your bank—mobile notifications may not appear. IV. Booking Information Due to potential vehicle availability changes, we will do our best to reserve your selected model, but we only guarantee delivery of the same model, equivalent value model, or a free upgrade. The base rental rate does not include any vehicle insurance. You may provide your own auto insurance (we will verify if it's full coverage and includes rental vehicle protection), or you may select suitable vehicle insurance on the next page. Renters under 21 must provide their own insurance that covers the rental vehicle; otherwise, you will be responsible for all damages to both vehicles and injuries in case of an accident. Broken windows often occur because personal belongings such as clothes, wallets, or phones are left inside the car. We strongly recommend taking all valuables with you when exiting the vehicle. If items are stolen, recovery is extremely difficult❗❗ Once the deposit is paid, it is non-refundable. Orders beyond three days can be modified once free of charge by contacting customer support—including vehicle type, rental duration, etc. Orders within ten days cannot be modified. The license must be valid—both Chinese driver's licenses and International Driving Permits are acceptable. However, if you do not have a U.S. driver’s license, you must also present your passport and visa page upon pickup. If your license is not accepted, we cannot complete the vehicle handover.
