Currently looking to take on a female roommate to fill a large house. Ideally college students, military, and/or professionals, someone that leaves the house often for a life outside the home. A woman who is kind and respectful, responsible, able to communicate, and on top of general cleanliness within common areas. We are located 2 blocks from Old Dominion University off of Colley Ave, on a dead end street. This house, built in 1901, is huge with 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with washlets. Features include a large living room, kitchen, dining room, great front porch. The kitchen has a dishwasher, 2 refrigerators, stove, oven, microwave, and various small appliances. Laundry room off of the kitchen with washer and dryer, access to fenced back yard. Central heat and air. No fuss lawn care. All bedrooms are upstairs with slightly askew hardwood floors. All utilities and Wi-Fi included. Ring security cameras. Single occupancy rooms. I have a large room between the living room and kitchen, with no electrical outlets. I have multiple dressers with tools and household items shared for all in this room. When the sun shines brightly through the multiple prisms displayed in the window, lovely RAINBOWS appear! I plan to display mirrors on this rooms wall, possibly increasing the ‘rainbow show’. ROOM: 7’*18’ $777 unfurnished or $888 a month, furnished includes a full size bed, new bedding (sheet set and pillows), floor rug, nightstand and desk.
