[Disclaimer: We are not the landlord and we do not set the rent amount] The master bedroom at our house in Midtown Santa Cruz is becoming available on September 1st. Please note that this room is huge. It is as big as a studio space or as a small apartment. The room has its own bathroom, a private balcony, and two storage spaces that could be used as walk in closets and one has even been used as a working space before. The room is ideal for couples or as a double. Rent is $2334 plus utilities and deposit is $1668. At this moment, the landlord has not given notice of a rent increase. The house is very large with big windows and a large fenced yard. We have a large kitchen with two refrigerators. There is a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and free street parking on a quiet cul-de-sac. A total of 6 people live in the house. We are a mixture of graduate students, recent graduates, and working professionals in our 20s and 30s . We have a cat named Luna and a rabbit named Skye Cat. Unfortunately, we're not accepting any more pets, unless they are small enough to stay in your room, e.g., fish, a small animal that stays in their pen, etc. No smoking is preferred.
