Job Title: Local Truck Driver (Home Daily) Location: Seattle-Tacoma area Hourly Pay: $26/hour Job Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, occasionally the weekend if available) Equipment Provided: Day cab tractor and a 53’ dry van trailer Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Local Truck Driver to join our team! If you enjoy working independently, have a passion for driving, and want to be home every day, this is the job for you. As a local truck driver, you'll be responsible for safely transporting goods within a designated region, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a commercial truck (Class A or B) within a local area. Deliver goods to assigned destinations in a timely and efficient manner. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition. Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company guidelines. Load and unload cargo as required (tailgate pallets using pallet jack IF NEEDED ONLY). Communicate with dispatch to report delivery status and any potential issues. Maintain a clean and organized truck. Adhere to company and DOT regulations. Requirements: Valid Class A or B CDL (Commercial Driver’s License). Minimum of 2 years of driving experience (local driving experience preferred with 53’ trailer). Clean driving record. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Must be able to pass background checks and drug tests. Benefits: Competitive Pay: $26 per hour. Home Daily: Spend more time with your family. Average work day is between 7AM-5PM with occasional opportunities for the weekend. Will guarantee 40 hours a week minimum.
