This was a frame-off restoration completed in 1997, driven on weekends and to car shows for several years. I purchased the car in 2007 and it’s been parked in my garage and not driven for 18 years. Body The body and paint are excellent, no significant rust. There are 3 minor dents that would pull out without much trouble. The doors open and close easily, are well aligned, latch securely and lock. The windows roll smoothly, and the vent windows operate the way they should. Engine At the time of the restoration the B16 engine was replaced with a B20 (2.0 liter) with a Weber carburetor. It starts and runs smoothly. The cylinder compression tested cold at 160-165-175-165. Mechanical Clutch and transmission seem fine. The frame is solid and rust free. Volvo disk brakes on the front and stock drums on the rear. Electrical Converted to 12 volt. New battery. Everything works. Interior The interior paint and wood trim are in very good condition. The dash and gauges look very good and work, but the seats, carpet and headliner are in bad shape. Includes a tachometer and stereo. Overall Brake work and a front end alignment would make it a fun weekend driver. It would also be an ideal starting point for a full restoration. Tires are old, but have plenty of tread. Includes spare tire, roof rack and shop manual. What’s wrong No brakes. The master cylinder is kaput and the hand brake cable needs adjustment or replacement. Cash only. Not interested in trades. Located in Southeast Virginia
