Hello and thanks in advance for reading our post. My girlfriend and I are looking for temporary home for our Tiny House. My girlfriend is a traveling Physical Therapist, the company she works for sets her up with contracts to work for 13 weeks at a time. I can work from anywhere as long as there is an internet connection. Her next contract is going to be in Summersville West Virginia starting June 30th and runs through till September 26th. We would prefer somewhere central to where Nicholas County and Webster County come together as she will be working in those 2 counties, however anywhere in the area could be fine. There is a possibility of her contract being extended another 3 months. Typically we try to stay somewhere for 6-9 months. But for now we are looking for a place to live for 3 months (End of June through September) with a possibility of longer. We are negotiable as far as rent goes depending on location/amenities etc.. A little information about our home: It’s 26’ long without the tongue , 8- -6” wide and 13’ 5” tall. Please keep in mind the height if you have low power lines or tree branches in the area. It weighs just under 14k pounds which is something to keep in mind. Our house is set up for semi-off grid use. We use very little power and would only require a single 20 amp outlet (preferably dedicated) but we can plug in to anything up to a 30 or even 50 amp RV connection. For water, we would need a place to connect a hose. We do have a water tank. In regards to water leaving the house. We have no black water as we have a composting toilet. For Grey water we do have a tank the collects it that we can either empty at a drain somewhere or could be run out with a hose to the yard somewhere. We use all biodegradable products in the house so it can be safely emptied anywhere. We designed our house to be able to be placed anywhere in order to make finding places to put it easier. Please let us know if you have any questions about any of our utility hookups. We do have a small dog Rocky (25lbs) with us he is a 14 year old whippet mix, and very friendly. Probably the friendliest dog ever. Not a barker at all. We do have references as we have been traveling with our house for over 3 years now and have had zero issues. Most people have wanted us not to leave lol. If this sounds like something you would be interested in doing please let us know. Feel free to contact us with any questions as well... Thanks, Jason & Monica.
