This is a handmade blackish heavy glass bowl made about 20 years ago by a fellow artist and good friend in Branson, MO. He retired after years blowing glass to go work for shipping company. What a loss to the art world! I have several of his pieces. This particular bowl was made in an effort to emulate 'carnival glass', a highly collective line of glassware that began being made by the Fenton Art Glass Company of West Virginia in the early 1900's. I believe he equalled or surpassed their beautiful work. This is a stunning piece. Size is 11" in diameter at the top and 4.5" deep. As he only made about 6-7 pieces in this effort, this is a one-of-a-kind piece and I have been the only owner of it. We traded for my photography way back when. Good trade! Price is $110. I can do cash, check, SQUARE or PayPal - possibly Apple Pay. Can come see, touch, feel, shine the light on it to see the iridescence - and purchase - at my studio on the south side of Bloomington. Arrange a time that works and I will show it to you.
