Description

Core Job Duties Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate Survey Equipment ensuring optimal performance. Brands Include Topcon, Sokkia, Leica, Trimble, Nikon, Carlson, Pentax and others. Maintain accurate service records and enter relevant information into the service database. Provide technical repair support via phone or email to assist the our shop if needed. Assist in engineering evaluations, failure analysis, and generate reports with recommendations for improvement. Develop test fixtures, troubleshooting stations, procedures, work instructions, and service manuals. Minimum Requirements for job: Education and Experience: •Minimum 3 years’ experience in an electronics repair in a manufacturing/service role •AA in electronics or related technology, or equivalent military training. Bachelor’s preferred •Familiar with test equipment, such as but not limited to multi-meters and oscilloscopes to diagnose and adjust optical, mechanical, and electronic instruments Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes: •Excellent communication verbal/written skills and ability to work on/with multifunctional teams •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong attention to detail •Knowledge of electronic test equipment •Electronic/mechanical troubleshooting skills •Knowledge of Microsoft Office products •Knowledge of software/firmware loading with PC’s (i.e., installing and un-installing drivers for PC hardware, loading Operating System and BIOS) •Salesforce/Arena platforms knowledge a plus Physical Requirements: •Position may require bending, carrying, kneeling, lifting, and walking •Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. with assistance
