As compliance with NYC Local Law 31 becomes increasingly critical — we are growing our in-house inspection capabilities to support our diverse residential portfolio. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to public health and safety while building a long-term career in the environmental inspection field. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Use XRF analyzers to test for lead-based paint across various surfaces Calibrate, maintain, and safely operate XRF equipment Follow strict radiation safety protocols Collect paint chip samples and detailed supporting documentation (notes, photos) Maintain accurate inspection records and chain of custody for all samples Assist senior inspectors with full property assessments Complete field data forms and inspection reports Adhere to all quality assurance and safety protocols ✅ QUALIFICATIONS: XRF Radiation Safety Certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days) Prior experience with XRF devices preferred Understanding of lead inspection procedures Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Basic knowledge of building materials and components Ability to work in diverse building environments Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Physically able to carry equipment (up to 40 lbs) and access building areas Excellent time management and organization EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s in environmental science or related field a plus) Required: XRF Radiation Safety Certification Preferred: Lead Sampling Technician, OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Salary: Starting at $60,000 annually, depending on experience Plus: Profit-sharing incentives Opportunities for training, certification support, and career advancement Stable workflow with multiple properties under management Be part of a company committed to both compliance and tenant well-being WHY DOMU MANAGEMENT?
