Strategic Projects Lead, Generative AI

Scale AI, Inc. in San Francisco, CA seeks Strategic Projects Lead, Generative AI Responsibilities: Responsible for leading the charge on Scale’s highest impact investments and most pressing problems, delivering artificial intelligence results for strategic customers, developing new machine learning products or solving novel challenges in order to move key company metrics. Duties include: leading cross-functional artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) projects with diverse stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Go to Market teams that relate to the use of Scale’s products and solutions and providing regular progress updates to Scale’s executive team; accelerating the development of AI and ML-enabled applications by developing new products and defining product vision and technical strategy; enhancing existing software portfolio and consulting with users, management, vendors, analysts, programmers, and other technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements and fulfill the needs of Scale’s strategic customers or initiatives; overseeing the data labeling operations for strategic projects from ideation to launch, combining manual labeling with best-in-class tools and machine-driven checks to yield intelligent training data; staying up to date with latest AI and ML technologies, conducting market research, integrating usability and feasibility studies, and analyzing customer data metrics to identify trends and potential product and operational opportunities; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S. but will report to Scale AI headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Salary Range: $190,000 - $230,000. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent). Requirements: 2 years of experience in job offered or related positions; 2 years of experience conducting in-depth research and analysis of data to support strategic decision making and product development; 2 years of experience designing and implementing data driven strategies to solve complex product or business challenges; 2 years of experience with C++, JS, Python, SQL, NodeJS, Angular JS, or similar industrial frameworks or languages; and 2 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product or portfolio vision in alignment with business strategy.
