Website: www.mancaveamerica.com đ§ About the Role: Lead A/V Technician This is not just a jobâitâs an opportunity to lead the charge in transforming dream spaces into high-performance sanctuaries. You'll work closely with project managers, clients, and our crew to design, install, and service cutting-edge tech systems with confidence, creativity, and accountability. â Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor install teams on job sites Install and configure: home theater systems, whole-house audio, lighting control, security cameras, and structured cabling Troubleshoot wired and wireless networks (including port forwarding, IP schemes, DHCP issues) Interpret floor plans and rack/system designs Program and configure interfaces (Sonos, URC, MusicCast, Lutron, etc.) Document systems and installations clearly Ensure system reliability, client satisfaction, and job site professionalism đ§ Youâre a Fit If You⌠Are proactive, organized, and communicate well Own your mistakes and learn from them (no egos here) Love solving technical puzzles and finding clean solutions Take pride in the quality of your work and craftsmanship Enjoy collaborating with a team and also getting stuff done solo Have high emotional intelligence and customer service skills Are comfortable in both dusty attics and luxury penthouses Want to grow with a crew that works hard and has fun đŞ Requirements 2â4+ years experience in A/V, IT, or smart home tech integration Solid skills in pulling and terminating Cat6, RG6, fiber, and security wiring Familiarity with Ubiquiti, Google WiFi, Eero, Netgear, Orbi, etc. Strong grasp of OS platforms (Windows, iOS, Android, Linux optional) Comfortable with hand/power tools, testers, and cable management best practices Valid CA driverâs license and clean driving record Ability to pass a background check â Bonus Points For: Experience managing or mentoring techs in the field Ability to program remotes or control interfaces Network certifications or training Knowledge of backup power solutions and smart home ecosystems Having used ChatGPT or other AI tools for job efficiency â° Schedule & Compensation MondayâFriday, 8:30amâ5:30pm Occasional extended hours and weekend work when needed $30â$38/hour based on experience Room for growth, leadership, and performance-based rewards đ¤ What We Offer A high-trust, low-drama work environment Growth opportunities in leadership, sales, and design Access to cutting-edge tech and ongoing learning A team culture that values craftsmanship, humor, and accountability đŠ To Apply Send your resume and a short note on why youâd be a great fit for Man Cave America.
