The celluloid back pictures an infant with the text: "If the man on the other side should die would his family be provided for?" Since the other side is a mirror, you learn that you are the selfish man who has neglected to provide for his family. If the mirror could see into the future, you see your family was headed for hard times either way because the stock market crash and great depression was in the near future. Mirror is undamaged but celluloid backing is cracking. This advertising pocket mirror measures about 2 inches diameter. An interesting advertising collectible.
