Full Time Assistant Property Manager (East Pasadena) Job overview: We are a Southern California commercial real estate investment & management firm seeking an experienced and energetic Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent organization, and the ability to manage day-to-day property operations effectively. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, a team player and can professionally communicate with tenants and vendors. Responsibilities: • Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday • Answer phones • Investigate and help to resolve tenant complaints • Placing and tracking completion of work orders • Enforce property/company rules and regulations • Create 3-day notices, invoices and tenant notices • Rent collections • Prepare leases and amendments • Deposit checks / accounts receivables and maintain deposit log • Process invoices / accounts payables • Clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing, etc... • Maintain marketing postings and assist in creating marketing material • Maintain tenant contact information • Analyze contracts and proposals, meeting with vendors as needed • Assist in other projects and day-to-day activities for the property manager • Travel from Pasadena to West Covina (as needed) Qualifications: • Prior experience in property management is a plus • Must be punctual • Great social skills, ability to build rapport with tenants • Ability to multitask and prioritize • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Technical skills are essential, including proficiency ins MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), and AppFolio software • Attention to detail and time management • Ability to work independently • Valid California driver’s license and insurance are required • Credit Score of 675 or more • No Evictions or Bankruptcies • No Criminal Record A background check (credit & criminal history) will be required as part of the hiring process.
