What You'll be Doing We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Underwriting Assistant to support our underwriting team in the day-to-day management of a large book of business. This role plays a key part in maintaining excellent client service standards, ensuring company compliance, and supporting underwriters in processing and managing accounts efficiently. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and be eager to build a long-term career in the insurance industry. This position offers significant career growth opportunities, including licensing, underwriting, and brokerage training. Ambitious individuals will be fast-tracked to build a book of business and a team, earning residual commission income from anywhere in the world. Key Responsibilities Underwriting & Brokerage Support Assist with the binding of coverage and preparation of documentation. Manage renewal quoting processes, including gathering necessary information, preparing submissions, and ensuring timely delivery. Handle policy issuance, endorsements, and related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. Market & Client Interaction Provide service management for a large book of business, ensuring prompt and professional communication with brokers, carriers, and clients. Ensure adherence to company compliance standards and underwriting guidelines. Operational Support Collaborate closely with the assigned underwriter to complete tasks, manage workflow, and resolve outstanding issues. Maintain careful and organized file management, ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and properly recorded. Requirements Qualifications Required Skills Proficient in computer applications and documentation management. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and commitment to continuous growth and professional development. Experience & Education High school diploma required; college degree preferred but not mandatory.
