We are looking for a woman who wants to make a difference in the lives of others and is dependable and loves to learn Looking for help with our developmentally disabled daughter. She is a 36 year old developmentally disabled woman who presents as a young adult and who lives with her parents. Duties include: help her to volunteer in the community, take her to her to gym (a coach helps to work her out, but you're there to supervise), do art with her, walk her dog in our neighborhood with her, listen to music, make new friends, and help her make her way in the community. She is outgoing and fun loving. She does have seizures and other medical issues, but we help extensively with training and Mom works from home, so there is a lot of support for her caregivers. Work Schedule: $25/hour through GT Independence (includes fingerprinting, social security, and I-9 paperwork) 2 weekday afternoons 12-6PM Mondays and Thursdays About you: Non-smoker (of any kind) Looking for someone who is caring and flexible option to pick up other shifts and additional if desired through IHSS at $20.75/hour Comfortable with providing personal care Comfortable with communicating with the family comfortable working with animals Able to pay attention to our daughter’s needs driver with a car (there is funding for some mileage) About us: Quiet, loving family who cares for our daughter and for all who live in our home We live by the Mi Casa, Tu Casa ideal because we want all our caregivers to feel that they are at home too. Job Summary: Prepare cylinders according to established procedures. Ensure that cylinders are prepared and ready for maintenance crew as needed. Duties include: • Valve and de-valve cylinders. • Scrap labels to prepare for regular maintenance. • General maintenance of cylinders. • Maintain a safe and clean work area. • Attend Monthly Safety Meetings. Work according to established safety procedures and promote safety with co-workers. Salary Range: Expected hiring salary is $22.00/hr. for Day Shift and $23.00/hr for Swing Shift. The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $22.00/hr.-$29.50/hr. Full Job Description: Drill Crew Laborer: A Drill Crew Laborer supports directional drill construction teams. Drill Crew Laborer duties include general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment and supplies needed for daily work assignments, setting-up of worksite traffic and safety controls and properly securing work area. Hand dig with shovels, picks, digging bars to expose located utilities, access u/g vaults and pedestals, and complete trenches. Operate jackhammers, air knives, pneumatic boring equipment and powered augers. Place conduit and/or cables in trenches, splice conduit sections (install couplers) as directed, place anchors, pedestals vaults, etc. to complete construction tasks. Fully restore worksite at completion of daily work, refill trenches and holes, tamp soil, replant any plants or shrubs that were disturbed during our construction, place temporary asphalt on streets where excavations have been performed. When required and if appropriately licensed and authorized, drive or operate construction equipment used on the jobsite to complete daily work assignments Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment assigned for use.
