Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager (knowledge of English, Russian or Ukrainian) to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service. Train, develop, and manage staff to maintain an efficient and motivated team. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction processing. Implement effective budgeting strategies to optimize restaurant profitability. Foster a positive dining experience through excellent customer service and hospitality management. Conduct interviews and hire new staff members as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Handle shift management responsibilities, including scheduling and staff assignments. Skills Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and production techniques. Experience in quick service & fast food restaurants as well as fine dining establishments is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Proficient in cash handling and financial management practices. Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory control and kitchen management. Ability to provide training & development opportunities for staff members. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences. Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is advantageous. Familiarity with banquet services, catering operations, bar management, coffee experience, or barista skills is a plus. Part time. Weeknight evenings and must have Saturday and Sunday availability including some holidays. Most shifts are under 4 hours. Free garage parking and employee shift meal. We open daily at 11:30am. On Friday and Saturday, we close at 9pm. Sunday through Thursday we close at 8pm. We are looking for an experienced BBQ and Blackstone grill cook to work the next 4 weekends through November 3rd at a pumpkin patch. The shift would be roughly 9:00am to 5:00. You must be able to work both days. It is outside under cover and in the shade. We are located 10 minutes from Old Town Elk Grove and 25 minutes from downtown Sacramento. You would be preparing: Hamburgers Hot dogs Polish chicken breasts chicken skewers taco meat Pork Grilled corn on the cob Etc You will be working with one other seasoned BBQ person Please submit your verifiable work experience. I am looking to hire someone to come help me in my yard and greenhouse for 3-4 hours per day, Monday through Friday. I want someone who LOVES plants. This is not a hard labor type job. I want someone who loves plants and will be meticulous in helping me care for, maintain, fertilize and beautify my plants. I have a landscaper that does the mowing and edging so I do not need help with that. I honestly just want someone who loves creating beautiful outdoor spaces. I am flexible with the hours but would ideally prefer mornings. I will require a background check (which I am happy to pay for) since this person will be working in my home environment.
