Chef and Kitchen Assistant (Part-Time AND Full-Time) Exciting opportunity for the right candidate! Plantage provides nutrient-dense, organic, plant-based meals to our community through a meal subscription service, walk-in Grab 'n Go, as well as wholesale production. Operating out of our beautiful, state of the art, custom-built kitchen in the Sunnyland neighborhood. We are currently expanding our capacities and are in need of at least 2 additional chefs and/or kitchen assistants. We are on a fast-track to take on a substantial amount of additional work and are looking to build-up a solid team, quickly, to take on this new work. We are looking for someone who wants to join our team and grow alongside us. Some experience and basic food knowledge is mandatory, but the desire to learn, grown and perfect your art is most important. It is imperative that you have the ability to stay on task and self-manage while also providing support to the head chef and sous chef. Open communication and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks is a must. Plantage provides a super up-beat and positive work environment, while at the same time adhering to extremely high standards in quality, production and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will be keen to learn on the fly, repeat tasks based on demonstrations and take personal pride in their daily work. There is no job too big or small for anyone on the team. We are currently hiring for a part-time and full-time production assistant. This role will continue to grow is scope and there is the opportunity for significant personal growth and development within the company. Avenue Bakery is looking to hire an experienced baker to work at our wholesale bakery warehouse. Come roll some dough with our seasoned group of friendly bakers and be a part of the magic. The position would be daytime and include scaling and rolling all our different delicious doughs. Hours: Full Time, 4 x 9.5hr shifts Wage: DOE Benefits: Full time employees are eligible for medical and dental after 60 days.
