As a Wonder Math Instructor, you’ll lead small groups of 2nd-7th grade students through weekly, one-hour virtual classes that build confidence, spark curiosity, and improve core math skills. What You’ll Do: - Teach engaging, pre-built lessons rooted in Common Core standards through our online platform - Guide students through exciting storylines and math challenges with clarity and encouragement - Foster a supportive environment where kids feel safe to try, struggle, and succeed - Communicate with parents after sessions to share wins, progress, and suggestions for continued growth - Use your personality and presence to make each lesson memorable and meaningful What We’re Looking For: - Candidates must hold a valid teaching credential. Alternatively, a master’s or doctoral degree in education or a related field may be considered in place of a credential. - Experience teaching or tutoring using pre-made lesson plans - A love of working with kids and a proven ability to build rapport - Tech-savviness and confidence in troubleshooting during live sessions - A reliable internet connection, quiet workspace, and computer with video/audio - Minimum availability of 12 hours per week (evenings, Sundays, and holidays included) - Must be available to start right away and pass a background check If you’re ready to teach math in a way that kids actually love, we’d love to meet you.
