Overview: Seeking both full time and part time RBT candidates to work with individuals on the autism spectrum. Maui Bridges seeks a dynamic selection of individuals interested in working full-time with young adult clients in both a center setting and community or home settings. Full-time hours with weekly shifts between 9 am and 530 pm Monday through Friday are available as well as part time shifts. Ideal candidate will be able to lift 60 pounds, have an interest in working with minimally verbal clients and be able to work as a dedicated therapist. The ideal candidates will work in collaboration as part of a team with other team professionals, ensuring the successful implementation of individualized program objectives. Supervision and Training is provided. Candidate should possess a valid driver’s license, be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation. Essential Functions Humane Education Present and facilitate educational programs, on site and in the community. Conduct educational tours of facilities. Plan and lead summer camp programming. Practice safe handling during animal interactions with children and guests. Perform administrative duties to support department programs such as answering calls and emails, scheduling and booking programs, taking payments, submitting and cancelling registrations, running reports, printing, cutting, laminating, and ordering supplies. Provide care for the animals designated for use in educational programs and pick up food and supplies for the animals as needed. The MRDC Bus Driver provides safe bus transportation for Head Start children, assuring that each child is picked up and delivered on schedule daily. Bus Drivers: Transport assigned children to and from Head Start centers efficiently and safely. Ensure that all passengers wear seat belts or are placed in appropriate (age or weight) car seats and belted in. Ensure that any behavioral issues do not compromise the safety of any child on the bus. Ensure that each child is delivered to the care of a responsible adult (on the authorized list) upon leaving the bus. Ensure that no child is ever left unattended while on the bus, following all procedures put in place to prevent a child being left behind. Visually observe the health of each child on the bus. Collaborate with Site Supervisor and families to design efficient bus routes. Requirements Must have, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED. Must have current CDL with Bus and Passenger endorsements. Must have a clean driving record. Must successfully complete a D.O.T annual physical, and a physical with TB test. Must pass a criminal background check in MD and surrounding states.
