Two cozy cabins located on the shore of Maranacook Lake in Winthrop. Maranacook Lake is one of the cleanest lakes around, boasting fantastic bass fishing, dozens of loons, and many eagles and osprey. Sit on the screened porch at night and listen to the loons calling out to each other. The cabins share a dock, gas grill, 2 picnic tables, and kayaks. There is also a fire pit located near the lake for all to enjoy. Both cabins have two bedrooms (full sized bed and 2 twins) and a futon in the big room, so the cabins sleep a maximum of 6 people each. A propane fireplace keeps the places toasty warm on cool days, but the cabins are not insulated, thus we rent from the middle of June through September. The property has a shoreline of 200 feet; the two cabins are on one side, and we live in the house on the other end. The cabins can be rented by separate parties at $1,200 for the week, or if you need both cabins, both can be rented (if available) for $2,200 for the week. A cleaning fee of $100 per cabin is also required. Towels and linens are provided. Wi-Fi is included. We require a week reservation from Saturday to Saturday for the months of July and August.
