Catering Cook – Full-Time & Part-Time Russo’s Hospitality Group – Queens, NY About the Job: Russo’s Hospitality Group is hiring full-time and part-time Catering Cooks. We’re looking for people with at least 2 years of experience in a restaurant or catering kitchen. Experience with Italian food is a plus. You should be comfortable in a busy kitchen and pay close attention to detail. What You’ll Do: *Prepare and cook food based on recipes and kitchen standards *Make sure food looks and tastes great before it goes out *Keep your work area clean and organized *Follow all food safety and sanitation rules *Work well with the rest of the kitchen team What We’re Looking For: *At least 2 years of kitchen experience *Good cooking skills and knowledge of food handling *Able to work quickly and stay organized *Team player with good communication *Must speak English; Spanish is a plus *Able to stand for long hours and use stairs during shifts Pay: $20–$22 per hour (depending on experience) Schedule: Must be available for weekdays, weekends, and holidays Paid time off (per NYS guidelines) Location: Must be able to commute to Queens, NY, or plan to relocate before starting. Customer Service & Sales Support (In store, Over the Phone and by email) • Provide outstanding customer service, including assembling hoses while customers wait. • Assist with sales of electric clutches and other hydraulic equipment. Safety & Housekeeping • Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions. • Maintain a clean, organized workspace; clean spills immediately and store tools properly. • Support other shop operations and tasks as needed. Physical Requirements • Lift to 50 lbs. as needed. • Stand for extended periods; occasional bending, crouching, pushing, and pulling. Qualifications Required: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. Preferred: • Previous experience in hydraulic hose assembly or mechanical repair. • Forklift operation experience (training provided). • Technical schooling or certifications in hydraulics or related fields. • Functional knowledge of hydraulic systems. FunFlicks Outdoor Movies is the largest outdoor movie company in America and we are in need of great people with good A/V and customer service skills to setup and run our outdoor movie events! We are looking for technical movie hosts for our outdoor movie events. As a FunFlicks Event Technician, you will be responsible for setting up the outdoor movie theater at each event, including the inflatable screen, sound system, and projector. The Event Technician will stay for the duration of the movie, and break down the equipment at the end. You will make $25 - $50+ per hour based on event pay of $100 - $200 per event, for about 4 hours of work! (Plus tips, mileage reimbursement, and Year End Bonus). Job requirements are as follows: 1. You must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (50 lb. speakers, inflatable screens, etc). 2. You must have a valid driver's license, dependable transportation with current insurance, and a clean driving record. 3. You must be available to work most weekend nights and some weekday nights 4.
