Established Post Hardcore Band Seeking Vocalist (La Mesa)

We're Forgotten Alibi—a post-hardcore band that released an EP back in 2005 through Pacific Ridge Records. We broke up shortly after and never fulfilled our original contract… but fast forward 20 years, and somehow, our music has found new life online and on social media. It's not huge, but we've gotten more streams in the past three months than the last 20 years combined and growing. It’s been wild to see people connecting with something we made so long ago. Now, we’re getting the band back together to a certain degree—but we’re looking for a new vocalist to complete the lineup. We’re currently in talks with our old label about a new project, and we’ve started writing new material. Everything moving forward depends on finding the right voice. Our goal right now is to record new music first, then see where that puts us in terms of playing shows. The music that is online right now is 20 years old, and so the stuff we're writing now is a more modern evolution of that sound. We're looking for both clean and harsh vocals to complete our sound. We all work full time now, and some have families. We're looking for a low level of commitment to start with during the writing/recording process, and the possibility of larger commitment depending on how things go from there. We have the potential for label support with our old label again, pending on the search for a new vocalist.
