The Belle Epicurean production kitchen is seeking a kitchen team member to add to our vienoisserie dough and pastry team. We focus on high quality doughs and craft pastries with a sales base throughout the region. We are looking for a person who enjoys to work on a team and will always be open to learning and improving. Belle Epicurean is a scratch bakery which still utilizes our artisan hand made recipes. We provide on-the-job training a supportive atmosphere. We are a fast paced environment but take the time to understand the employees needs to support their understanding and growth! The right candidate will be efficient, organized and attentive to the production needs while maintaining a general sense of care for a job well done. We are located in the Georgetown neighborhood of South Seattle. Duties will include: · Preparing a variety of doughs, batters and fillings. · Baking, assembling and finishing variety of cakes, mousses and tarts. · Ability and willingness to perform other small duties and tasks specified by the kitchen manager. Ability to Follow Dress Code Responsibilities: • Set up workstations with required ingredients and cooking equipment. • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking • Prep with Skillet, Food Processor, Mixer and Convection Oven • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen, coolers, freezers, dry goods, etc. •Ability to Cook using Waffle Machine and Skillets. • Ensure all food and other items are stored and labeled properly. • Follow and complete BOH closing duties. • Valid food handlers permit is required. $ 23 hr wage with Tips in Addition and Meal. Shifts are 10am-4pm Currently looking to Fill Thursday, Friday Saturday and Sunday with Opportunity for More Shifts.
