General Maintenance / Groundskeeper – Iconic El Chorro (Paradise Valley) Pay: $18 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. El Chorro, a historic and iconic property located in beautiful Paradise Valley, is seeking a hands-on, dependable, and motivated General Maintenance / Groundskeeper to join our team. We’re looking for a jack-of-all-trades candidate — someone with general maintenance and grounds experience who takes pride in keeping the property beautiful, organized, and running smoothly. This position works closely with our Property Engineer and supports the daily operations of our 11-acre property. Position Responsibilities: Daily landscaping and general groundskeeping Painting throughout the property (interior and exterior) Sanding and staining of teak tables and benches Cleaning, polishing, and painting light fixtures Window cleaning throughout the property Blowing off all walkways and outdoor areas each morning prior to service General property upkeep and minor maintenance tasks Maintenance and organization of the back dock and storage rooms Assisting with the movement of tables, chairs, umbrellas, and heaters around the property throughout the day and across the seasons Supporting setup and turnover of spaces to ensure the property remains organized and presentable Ideal Candidate: Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks Has general knowledge of basic maintenance, painting, landscaping, and cleaning tools/equipment Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Takes direction well and works effectively with the Property Engineer and leadership team About El Chorro: Since 1937, El Chorro has been an iconic destination for fine dining, private events, and authentic Arizona hospitality. Flexible availability (daytime, evenings, and weekends) and ability to work in varying conditions. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
