JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES • Work in collaboration with project management and production team • Knowledge of engineering principles, mathematics, building materials and construction techniques • Acquire information about each job: Client, Architect, Designer, GC, schedule, expectations, etc. • Follow Company drafting standards • Proactive when questions arise: inquire, call, send RFI’s as needed • Specify materials, finishes, hardware, lighting, etc. • Inform office if materials are not available, not suitable, etc. • Make sure dimensions are verified and accurate with Project Managers prior to issuing drawings for production.
