ShareBarkley Village Scotty Browns is currently seeking a Kitchen Manager to join their team. Our current head chef is stepping down to pursue her nursing degree, leaving us with an open spot for our next kitchen leader/chef. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our very busy restaurant - we require motivation, dedication, and a commitment to making our store even better than it already is! Roles + Responsibilities: - Continuously learn, observe, and maintain restaurant systems and operations. - Consistently execute food to our exact specifications and within our time standards. - Manage food, BOH labor, and other kitchen-related costs. - Oversee inventory and ordering, meeting budget targets, and conducting food cost analysis. - Manage prep inventory. - Supervise menu rollouts and product updates, including training and quality control. - Maintain immaculately clean and working kitchens. - Ensure food delivery to our guests meets timing standards. - Consistently train, develop, and motivate quality employees. - Maintain kitchen labor costs to agreed-upon levels. - Produce food cost within budget. - Ensure high quality food production and presentation. - Make certain that proper food safe practices are followed. - Ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of inventory. Required Skills + Experience: - Minimum 2 years management experience in a high volume kitchen. - A genuine ability to train, develop, and motivate others - natural leadership ability. - Kitchen systems focused in a corporate environment. - Works well in a fast-paced environment. - Effective communication skills, both written and oral. - Ability to problem-solve effectively. - Excellent organizational skills. - Possess a passion for food quality and an eye for detail. - Demonstrate a professional attitude and foster a fun and collaborative environment. - Able to use Microsoft Office and other required computer programs. - Flexible schedule availability.
