Friend of a Farmer Upper West Side is looking for line cooks for AM and PM Grill / Saute WALK-INS WELCOME: 2pm - 4pm Friend of a Farmer 68 West 71 Street New York, New York 10023 Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for menu items according to recipes and instructions. - Cook dishes to order in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high levels of quality and consistency. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards. - Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service of high-quality food. - Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications: - Egg and omelette experience - At least 3 years of experience as a Line Cook in a fine-dining or upscale casual restaurant, preferably with experience in Italian cuisine. - Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety and sanitation standards. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of quality and consistency. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Passion for food and hospitality, with a strong attention to detail. - Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools. - NYC Food Handlers Certificate
