Line Cook 239 West 4th St, New York, NY Full Time • Hourly ($23.00-$25.00) Required Years of Experience 2 years Job Details Fedora is looking for a motivated, curious, and dedicated cook to join our kitchen. We are a small team looking to add talent to our tight knit crew. The ideal candidate possesses a versatile cooking background and is eager to learn and develop their skills in a busy neighborhood restaurant. Role Description Line cook candidates will assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with the running of the kitchen. This candidate will be able to work well under pressure, execute a range of daily tasks; ensure the kitchen produces exemplary food while simultaneously fostering a healthy, happy work environment.  Schedule Requirement:  Full time, 5 days per week with 2 days off.  Key Responsibilities  Produce consistent, quality dishes in a fast-paced environment Provide a positive influence to the team and coverage or assistance to all stations as needed Work well under pressure while also creating a welcoming work environment that increases staff morale Ability to multitask, watch wastage, cooking temps and quality to reduce additional costs Maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards throughout the facility in compliance with DOH standards Maintain a safe environment for all Team Members.
