Eggslut is hiring! We're growing our team and are looking for Trainers to help with our Development Team. OBJECTIVE: The Restaurant Development Team is responsible for contributing to the successful training of new Eggslut locations along with providing the ongoing support required to maintain standards with all locations. The position is a part of Eggslut’s growth and development team. This job requires understanding and demonstrating each position within the restaurant in order to ensure management staff maintains operational procedures and company standards with regard to training, food quality, hospitality, etc. REPORTS TO: Upper Management, Ownership CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, Non-exempt, Hourly (may work additional hours as needed) COMPENSATION: Starting at $24/hr BENEFITS: Insurance available for full-time employees after 90-day probationary period PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - The ability to speak, see, hear, read, and write - mobility and manual dexterity - The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction - The ability to bend, crouch, stand, and perform movement for up to 8-10 hours a day - The ability to lift heavy items (20+ lbs) - The ability to be exposed to wet floors, noise, and temperature extremes - The ability to perform in a fast paced, busy environment with attention to detail QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: - Must have valid U.S. identification/work authorization (required) - ServSafe certified (or other Food Handler certification) - Ability and willingness to travel (domestic and international) - Prior training experience or supervising a team/group - Supervision experience; 3+ years Quick Service experience a plus - Highly-driven individual who enjoys working with people - Right attitude necessary to work in fast-paced environment with others - Confident and assertive to deal with complex situations and problem solve accordingly - Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed - Excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills - Demonstrate commitment to excellent guest service - Proficient in office computer programs (i.e. – Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.) GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist in store development - Assist in coordinating and conducting new store training (company owned and operated) - Assist and follow up on store training (working with location management) - Assist in performance reviews for location management - Help maintain operational procedures, policies and standards (communicate issues, etc.) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform Quality Assurance Reviews (QA) - Provide operational support via in-person, over the phone, and email communication - Perform weekly/bi-weekly/monthly 1-on-1 calls with location/licensee management - Provide detailed evaluations of store operations (via email and 1-on-1 recap) - If necessary, assist operations by temporarily filling in - Assist on special projects (menu tasting, sampling, development, etc.) - Perform any other duties as needed Apply by sending a complete resume directly to this listing.
