Description

We are deploying infrastructure for 5G Networks. A telecommunications startup focused on efficient and strategic support to the nationwide 5G deployment, helping OEMs and operators achieve enhanced connectivity for their networks. The field integration technician will be responsible for New and existing Technologies integrations to the network. LTE & 5G Integrations as per site requirements and work with the construction crew on site to complete the job scope. Installation may also be required alongside commissioning and integration tasks. Responsibilities The work involves installing, configuring and later integrating new LTE equipment from Nokia (as well as de-commissioning and removing old equipment from the site). You will be part of a growing team, coordinate tasks with integration engineers, and perform related tasks. A qualified candidate will have 1-2 or more years of experience with working at telecommunications sites (i.e, BTS/radio installation, fiber, telco, light electrical, etc). Experience with Installation, commissioning and integration of Nokia LTE & 5G equipment. Must have experience with Nokia BTS manager. Experience with T-Mobile Equipment is preferred. Experience with NSN Multi-Flexi System & Airscale modules and radios. Commissioning & Integration of UMTS, GSM, LTE and NR radio technologies. Installations Circuit Breakers, GPS Kit, LAN Connections, CPRI Fibers. Understanding of IP and Routing of cables. Mounting/unmounting of cabinet, racks and hardware. Experience with using a Fiber scope. Installing Commissioning and Later Integrating ABIO ABIL ASIL & ABIP Components Troubleshooting the same components after integrating them On-Site for alarms with Faulty Management Groups Theory and application related to project management, radio access networks, backhaul to sites signaling, disaster recovery planning and response, data services and location-based services. Excellent computer skills. Specifically, please contact us if you have a PTID and have removed or installed Nokia LTE & 5G equipment – and especially if that work involved installation and/or commissioning of Nokia equipment. We also expect that you have your own vehicle, a basic set of tools for work on wireless sites, laptop, cell phone, and ability to work outside. Requirements Associates Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field preferred. High School diploma and equivalent related experience considered. NOKIA Certifications Ability to represent company with professionalism. Ability to work within Maintenance Window hours (midnight to 6am) or daytime as scheduled based on project scope and adhere reliably to schedule. Ability to travel within a region, market or out of market on a project basis. Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather throughout the year. Ability to use technical skills to work independently and within a team and execute responsibilities as well as solve problems. Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb a 12 ft ladder. A day in the life: As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a vital role on our Operations team, specializing in the electrical testing and support of our innovative implantable device and its subcomponents. In this position, you’ll collaborate closely across teams to resolve technical challenges, drive improvements, and support changes that impact workflow, data integrity, and overall manufacturing performance. Key Duties and Responsibilities: General Operations Support production staff when technical issues arise, perform root-cause analysis on said issues, and implement quality solutions in a timely manner. Research, build business case, and implement capital expenditures to improve operational efficiencies in a manufacturing environment. Develop and recommend new processes and technologies to improve product quality and cost-effectiveness. Follow established manufacturing techniques and operating equipment specifications, identifying process improvements and resolution to issues where possible. Participate in providing technical direction, training, and certification for operators performing detailed process steps to ensure that production assemblers, testers, inspectors, and support staff have necessary skills, appropriate documentation, tooling, and process control capability. Participate in the qualification and development of suppliers for components, sub-assemblies, and processes. Implement design and development activities related to operations assessment, process development, and product validation. Provide technical direction, training, and certification for operators performing detailed process steps to ensure that production assemblers, testers, inspectors, and support staff have necessary skills, appropriate documentation, tooling, and process control capability. Support non-conforming material reports (NMR) and corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) processes. Support day-to-day operations relating to manufacturing, supply chain and facilities as necessary. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager. Test Systems Develop and build test environments and test cases for manufacturing mechanical and electrical systems. Develop test plans and strategies based on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and product specifications. Design and execute test protocols to evaluate the performance, functionality, and safety of medical devices. Support the creation and maintenance of software programs and algorithms to support automating test procedures. Design, assemble and operate custom test fixtures and equipment. Participate in establishing test procedures and coordinating testing of products under development. Document technical issues and solutions and suggest fixes and improvements. Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting as required. Analyze test results, detect issues and track root causes. Requirements What we expect from you: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or relevant field. 3 – 7 years’ of work experience in a manufacturing environment or similar. Working knowledge of standard electrical tests and test equipment such as voltmeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc. Ability to perform basic statistical analysis of test data using statistical tools, such as Minitab. Working knowledge of NI LabVIEW software. Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Self-motivated and self-driven. Basic PC skills including Windows, Excel and Word. Proficiency with technical writing. Job Title: Process Engineer Location: Waverly, Iowa Salary: $65-90K  Job Summary of the Process Engineer: The Process Engineer will provide engineering support by overseeing assigned production operations, handling technical issues as a contact for customers, troubleshooting product production issues, and improving processes to ensure quality, safety, and economic viability.  Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Process Engineer: Develop process/project engineering plans for assigned projects and present to corporate engineering and site management.
