Accounts Receivable Representative

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION Hi, my name is Jeff & I manage a number of short term rental properties. I am looking for someone to help me catch up with some bookkeeping (i.e. Microsoft Excel). For instance, I need help tracking expenses, mainly determining what was purchased & which rental property it was for. As long as you have at least a basic understanding of Excel, that's good enough since essentially you'd start with my spreadsheet which has a list of credit card transactions & you'd just have to find the receipts etc for those & fill in the missing blanks (this will allow me to categorize the expenses correctly). I am way too ADD to look up thousands of old receipts myself, so with your help I can finally get caught up & then we can focus on keeping things organized going forward. My office is located in downtown Tiburon. The only requirements are knowing how to use Excel for simple bookkeeping tasks, & living within a close proximity to Tiburon, since THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. Having someone in close proximity is important since the hours vary. For instance, some days I may need you to help me for an hour, while other days you may be able to work as many hours as you'd like. Often times I can be flexible around your schedule, except I do not work in the mornings. I'm usually at the office between noon & midnight. Small Westchester accounting firm is seeking an experienced tax preparer for seasonal independent contractor work beginning in early 2026. February to April and August to October. Make your own schedule during these periods. The work entails predominantly individual tax work to be performed, preparing moderate to complex returns. Multiple K-1's, multi-state, multiple brokerage statements, etc. CPA is a plus but not required. Experience working with Lacerte software is a huge plus. Remote Bookkeeper - Contractor South Denver Metro Area - Tax & Accounting Firm looking for Contractor Bookkeepers - Part Time. Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online, Data Entry, Bank Reconciliations, Credit Card Reconciliations, Setting Up New Clients, Obtaining Clients User Names & PW's to Download Required Data, Quarterly Financial Statements, Detailed Journal Entries, Experience in recording Payroll and Payroll Taxes from ADP and Paychex reports each month, plus Year End 1099's. Must be feel comfortable dealing with multiple clients with specific needs in different industries. Experience in cleaning up and/or creating new books for clients who are behind on years of bookkeeping or clients who are just starting out and require new books...both of these are a plus.
