We need a Mid-Level experienced machine shop operator for our Warner Swasey 5 and 6 spindle automatic machines. Able to read drawings, set-up machines, run machines and inspect parts. About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Warner & Swasey 5-Spindle Automatic Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up, operating, and maintaining Warner & Swasey multi-spindle automatic machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. Responsibilities: Set up and operate Warner & Swasey 5-spindle automatic screw machines. Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and production drawings. Adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling for optimal performance and part quality. Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company standards. Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet production goals. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience operating Warner & Swasey or similar multi-spindle automatic machines. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools. Understanding of metal cutting operations and tooling. Reliable attendance and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to up to100 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
