Join us and be part of a company where “Quality is our Foundation.” As a Commercial & Residential Estimator, you will play a critical role in our project planning process, providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for concrete placement, retaining walls, paving, and finishing projects. You’ll work closely with our experienced leadership team to ensure projects align with client expectations and our high standards for quality and timeliness. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and residential concrete projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. - Analyze project plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate bids. - Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to gather necessary information and ensure competitive pricing. - Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to identify project requirements. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and construction techniques. - Assist in negotiating contracts and providing cost-saving recommendations without compromising quality. - Support project teams during pre-construction and planning phases to ensure seamless execution. Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in concrete or related fields. - Strong understanding of commercial and residential concrete construction processes, including cast-in-place concrete, paving, and finishing. - Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines. - Knowledge of local Tucson construction codes and regulations is a plus. - Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
