Job Description: As an Administrative Office Assistant you will assist and coordinate office administration duties and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. The Administrative Office Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of our organization. The successful candidate is an energetic professional with great attitude, patient, reliable with an interest to learn and help. Someone who is able to work with little or no supervision and enjoys working in a busy office environment. • PICK UP PHONES, respond to generic emails • Manage relationships with tenants and vendors • Assist with documentation • Provide general support to visitors and clients by handling inquiries and complaints. • Filing, making copies, etc. • Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands. • Ensure office efficiency is maintained • Remain updated on technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, clasess, etc. if necessary • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, memos, forms, and presentations. • Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. • Establish a historical reference for the office by outlining procedures for protection, retention, record disposal, retrieval, and staff. • Opening/closing the office if necessary Required Skills and Qualifications: • 2+ years experience as an administrative office assistant, associate’s degree or combination of experience and education. • Excellent communication and customer service skills • PROFICENCY IN MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE - WORD, EXCEL AND OUTLOOK A MUST • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Strong communication skills.
